Chapter 01: The First Glance
K and J first crossed paths in a very modern way — through social media back in 2018. K stumbled upon J’s smile in a mutual friend’s photo, felt an unexpected spark, and hit follow.
Did they interact? Sadly… no. Sometimes, timing has its own plans.
Chapter 02: The Destiny
Fast forward to 2021. K had just started working in a new environment. One afternoon during a break, a coworker casually mentioned the name of a new hire joining the team.
It was J.
K instantly recognized the name. Without hesitation, he confidently said, “I know her. We’re friends.”
Truth is, they weren’t. Not yet, at least. But if that isn’t destiny quietly nudging two people closer, we’re not sure what is.
Chapter 03: The First Date
Days later, they actually became friends. And somehow, that friendship slowly blossomed into love. In November 2021, K and J went on their first date.
You would expect a romantic candlelight dinner at a fancy restaurant? Too predictable.
Instead, they chose to watch an indie movie at a quaint, old theater tucked away in a quiet alley. No noise. No extravagance. Just quiet scenes, soft laughter, and a growing connection.
Perhaps it was the perfect way to begin their story. Learning early on that no matter how ordinary life gets, they will always be the most brilliant main characters in each other’s films.
